Deliciously marinated chicken thighs grilled to perfection, offering a flavorful blend of sweet and savory notes, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat, allowing it to warm up properly for even cooking.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill each side for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F) and shows nice grill marks.
  5. Rest the Chicken: Once done, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Top the grilled chicken with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate chicken for 2 hours. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
