A delightful, easy-to-make dish that brings the comforting flavors of fall right to your dinner table with tender pork glazed in sweet apple butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Pork Tenderloin, trimmed
  • 1 cup Apple Butter
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low sodium recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin dry and season all sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Whisk together the apple butter, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin in the slow cooker and pour the apple butter glaze over the top.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook the tenderloin on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes. The pork should be fork-tender and fully cooked.
  5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice against the grain and drizzle with any remaining glaze. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Allowing the pork to rest helps maintain its juices. Fresh ingredients enhance overall flavor.
