A simple and satisfying dish with tender, juicy chicken breasts, perfect for a variety of meals.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried herbs (Herbs de Provence, Italian seasoning, dried basil, or dried oregano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to help it brown nicely. Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Season the chicken: Evenly sprinkle the fine sea salt, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and dried herbs over the chicken. Drizzle with olive oil to enhance flavor and moisture.
  4. Bake the chicken: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness. Chicken is ready when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Rest and serve: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Slice and enjoy as a main dish or let it cool for use in other meals.

Notes

Always ensure the chicken is dry before seasoning for better browning. Use an instant-read thermometer to check doneness accurately.
