A delightful dish featuring tender chicken in a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for cozy weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Add heavy cream and allow it to thicken for about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until melted and well-combined.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh garlic and adjust seasoning to your preference. Serve with garlic bread or steamed vegetables.
