A simple and comforting casserole made with chicken, Swiss cheese, and stuffing that cooks effortlessly in a crock pot, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 package stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Layer the chicken in the bottom of the crock pot, ensuring they are spread out evenly.
  2. Mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth in a bowl, then pour over the chicken.
  3. Top with the stuffing mix, spreading evenly over the chicken and sauce.
  4. Add the shredded Swiss cheese on top of the stuffing.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy your meal!

Notes

To avoid overcooking, use a meat thermometer to check the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165°F.
