Creamy Bacon Chicken is a delightful dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a rich, creamy sauce infused with crispy bacon, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, approximately 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Cook the bacon slices in the same skillet until crispy. Remove and place them on paper towels to drain.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring frequently.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and allow it to heat up to a slight simmer.
  6. Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet, coating it well with the creamy sauce.
  7. Crumble the crispy bacon over the top of the chicken.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts work best. Turkey bacon can be used for a lighter option. Half-and-half is a lower calorie alternative to heavy cream.
