This easy Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a delightful dish that’s perfect for anyone in need of a quick and satisfying meal with rich flavors and creamy texture.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces of Pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the Cream: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Incorporate Cheese: Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the sauce and toss until well-coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Serve the pasta hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Don’t overcook the garlic, as it can give a bitter flavor. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency and for added creaminess.
